UX & Visual Strategy for Israel’s Knesset Elections

I designed the official Knesset Elections website, crafting a modern, authoritative,
and approachable interface using Neomorphism as the core design principle.
The tactile, softly extruded elements convey clarity, trust, and formality —
essential for a high-stakes civic platform where precision, transparency, and usability are paramount.

Key UX considerations were at the forefront: real-time voting KPIs are highlighted prominently at the top of the page,
ensuring users immediately grasp the state of the election.
The design guides users intuitively through key actions,
emphasizing hierarchy and interactive clarity while maintaining an elegant, contemporary aesthetic.

Design Approach & Visual Execution

Neomorphism was applied strategically: content-holding shapes feature subtle dual shadows —
lighter top – left and darker bottom – right — on a bright yet soft background,
creating the illusion of three-dimensional depth. This method ensures visual hierarchy,
clear interactive affordance, and a polished interface that balances elegance with functionality.

The project demonstrates how thoughtful design can elevate a national civic platform,
delivering both usability and a visually sophisticated, approachable experience.
